The spookiest McDonald’s tradition is BACK for Halloween 2025! 👻
Chris & Vito hit the drive-thru to get their hands on this year’s McDonald’s Boo Buckets, a fan-favorite since 1986. These collectible Halloween Happy Meal pails have officially returned to participating McDonald’s locations starting October 21, and they’re better than ever.
This year’s lineup includes the three classic characters — 👻 Ghost, 🎃 Pumpkin, and 💚 Goblin — plus two brand-new additions: 🐈⬛ Cat and 🧟 Zombie! Each bucket comes in one of five colors (white, orange, green, black, and red) and features three unique facial expressions, so collectors have plenty to hunt for.
Inside the Happy Meal you’ll find all the usual favorites — plus stickers to decorate your bucket and make it look “fa-BOO-lous!” And when the food’s gone, the Boo Bucket doubles as the perfect trick-or-treat pail.
