I’ve been seeing this Japanese “tamago sando” blow up online, so I had to track one down and try it for myself. 7-Eleven just launched this nationwide in participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores — and it’s inspired by the fan-favorite version sold in Japan.

This sandwich is made with soft milk bread and a rich, creamy egg salad crafted with KEWPIE Mayonnaise (Japan’s legendary egg-yolk-only mayo known for its umami flavor). 7-Eleven says it's one of their most beloved international items, and now we finally get to taste it here in the U.S.
